Is precision critical in your wood working?

When installing kitchen cabinets, book cases or hanging doors and windows Speed Shims by Peel-A-Shim Inc. beats the pants off wedge style wood shims! If you're not familiar with these little guys then check out this video. I've been shimming cabinets, windows & doors with these to achieve plumb, level and square for a few years now - can't say enough good things about them and thought I should share this very useful and simple wood-working tool.

Kitchen cabinets are considered very important part of the kitchen as they assign very neat and sophisticated look to the kitchen. Without kitchen cabinets, the kitchen looks very scattered and doesn’t appear neat and clean and hence gives a messy look.

I used to use lots of these, especially for kitchen cabinets and windows. They were great. Typically I would glue them together with Titebond and to one surface. DoItBest had them in MD, but sometime around 2016 or 2017 I found they had become unavailable.

Ace Hardware has Broadfix plastic shims, they break off at scores and come in varying thicknesses. More expensive, though.

Do you know where one can still get Peel-A-Shim or something similar?
